Book your fills in advance! 2-3 weeks1. Book your fills in advance! 2-3 weeks is most often recommended to maintain a fuller looking lashes, you should always schedule enough in advance to ensure you are never left lash-less! Fills that go longer than four weeks are considered a new set and may need to be rescheduled to provide more time in the appointment. 2. Brush lashes (very gently!) each day. This is crucial to prevent tangled lashes and maintain a fresh look. You will receive a lash comb at your appointment, so brush, brush, brush! 3. Blow dryers can be a useful tool, too. Post-wash (as recommended daily) don't be afraid to wash them to quickly dry your lashes before brushing them out as it is not recommended you rub with a towel. 4. Don’t be dirty! In the morning and night, either with an oil-free cleanser or something gentle like baby shampoo, rubbing at the root and brushing throughout. Rinse thoroughly, pat or blow dry, brush through, and go on with your day! 5. You CAN wear makeup…but you really shouldn’t. Though it is not recommended, mascara is acceptable as long as it is removed appropriately. There is also lash extension-friendly mascara available on the market for those who believe they can’t go without it or for in-between fills when your lashes aren't looking so full. 6. Skincare is important, too. Oily eye creams (and even face creams) can travel, affecting the longevity of lashes. As you know, oil can damage the adhesion of lashes, and so oil-free skincare is always your best bet. 7. Sleep peacefully. Bad news for stomach sleepers, but sleeping on your back is most recommended to avoid tugging and waking up to bunches of lashes on your pillowcase. 8. Shower before your appointments. As you can’t get lashes wet for up to 48 hours post-appointment, it would be in your best interest to wash and style your hair beforehand! 9. Serum can be your new BFF. Though lashes shouldn't cause permanent damage on your natural lashes, there are some lash serums which can be applied to the roots of lashes WHILE having lash extensions on to prevent any damage that may occur while encouraging growth of your natural lashes. After all, lashes are applied on EACH of your own natural lashes, so more natural lashes=more lash extensions and a fuller look! 10. Seal the deal with a Lash Sealer. These can be purchased from a variety of lash-related retailers (Lashbrowlash) and can help keeping lashes in tip-top shape without ever applying mascara. Apply a super thin coat in the morning as your last step in your beauty routine and you’re set for the day!
Do not get the lashes wet, use a spa, sauna, pool or any strenuous activity for the first 24 hours. The extensions need that amount of time to properly bond.
Avoid pulling or rubbing your eyes.
If your eyelashes are tangled or crossed over, use the tools given to you after your appointment to gently brush them straight and put them in place.
Proper hygiene is very important. Please keep eyelid and lash line clean by regular washing with the Chrissanthie Eyelid Cleanser provided to you.
Avoid rubbing lashes use the tools provided to you to gently clean lash line.
It is best to air dry them or gently pat dry with a tissue.
Use care when applying facial and eye creams to avoid the eye area. Too many oil-based products can break down the adhesive.
SASS recommends touch-up appointments every two to four weeks to maintain your new eyelash extensions.
Do not wet your lashes for at least 12 hours after application; 24 to 48 hours would be ideal as it gives adhesive enough time to fully dry and create strong attachment between natural hair and extension. When taking shower, you can place a dry washcloth over your eyes to protect it from water.
After 48 hours it is ok to wet your lashes, however, it is very important to use oil free makeup and makeup removers. Many cosmetic brands contain chemicals and oils that may dissolve the adhesion. Always use oil free makeup and makeup removers when you have lash extensions.
Do not rub or use scrub on the area around the eyes. By rubbing or scrubbing we can accidentally pull the extension with the natural lash, therefore, create damage to the natural lashes.
Avoid extreme variations of heat and humidity (use of sauna), swimming after at least 24 hours can be resumed.
Be careful when changing clothes.
Do not use cotton. Try to avoid cotton makeup remover pads and cotton balls as parts of it might stay on the lash.
Do not brush the eyelash extensions when they are wet. Water adds extra weight to hair, when brushing lashes wet you might accidentally pull them.
Never attempt to remove eyelash extensions or add more hairs by yourself, you are likely to damage your natural lashes hairs or glue them together.
Please remember that natural eyelash cycle is approximately 90-100 days, it is absolutely normal for natural lashes to fall out at the end of their cycle. It allows new hairs to grow in their place. So don’t be afraid if you see an extensions fall out with your natural lash, that lash was probably at the end of it’s cycle. Most eyelash extensions can last through entire cycle of natural lash if the above guidelines are followed. Eyelash extensions are absolutely safe when applied by licensed and trained professional who uses quality products.

WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
Eyelash extension is an advanced technique that lengthens and thickens eyelashes. They are single strands of lashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. We use only quality extensions in vegan mink (premium synthetic mink).
HOW WILL THEY LOOK AND FEEL?
They will look completely natural, only much longer and fuller. They will feel like your own eyelashes. We do not count lashes, We will add as many or as few as needed to create the right look for you.
HOW LONG WILL THE INITIAL APPOINTMENT TAKE?
We take an artisan approach and will not rush your appointment. You can expect your first appointment to take approximately 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Unlike some salons we do not count eyelashes, a full set is a full set. We will use as many as are needed to create the right look for you. If you are happy, then we are happy.
WHAT IS A FILL AND HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET ONE?
After your initial set of eyelash extensions you will receive instructions on how to care for them. Fills are done every two to two to three weeks depending on care and how quickly your eyelashes grow. An eyelash extension fill takes a shorter time to do and the prices reflect that.
WHY DO I LOOSE SOME OF MY EYELASHES?
Due to the natural growth cycle of your lashes you will find your natural eyelashes shed every 60-90 days as new ones grows in. We recommend getting a fill every two to four weeks to fill in lashes on the new growth.
HOW LONG TO THE EYELASH EXTENSIONS LAST?
This all depends on your own personal habits, day to day activities and up-keep. Most of my clients lashes last up to three to four weeks.
DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY LASHES?
Yes and no.
Yes, your lashes can be damaged if applied from someone who was not properly trained and uses low quality products not intended for prolonged wear.
No, lash extensions properly applied by a trained technician who uses quality products should not damage lashes. My eyelash extension application techniques and innovative aftercare ensures your lash health. We use the 1:1 technique, meaning we apply one lash individually to each existing lash.
MY FRIEND IS ALLERGIC TO THE PRODUCTS, IS THIS COMMON?
True allergic reactions do happen, but are rare. If you have developed an allergic reaction you may still wear extensions with some changes made to the aftercare process. Common issues such as eye infections are due to improperly washing and caring for your lashes.
CAN I USE EYELASH /GROWTH CONDITIONERS ON MY EYELASHES?
Natural lash growth products containing vitamins and peptides are wonderful and will have no adverse effect on the longevity of your extensions. We do carry the LASH Grow Serum the Lash Conditioner at which is available for purchase.
